Delorme Meiler attended the launch of Red Rising magazine, issue 5, on Friday, March 24, 2017, held at the Graffiti Gallery. The launch event featured poetry readings from special guests like Katherena Vermette, and magazine contributors; Tyra Cox, Victoria N. Inglis, and Jordon W. & Nelliem. Throughout the evening attendees viewed Hoop Dancing by Shanley Spence, and Indigenous art demonstrations by Cash Akoza, Kristin Flattery and Justin L’Arrivee and heard the sounds of Indigenous DJs; DJ Rahdil, Boogey the Beat with Tessa & Shinji from Studio 393 and DJ Lil Win from Mama Cutsworth’s, DJ Academy for All Women.
