Delorme Meiler’s artwork graces the covers of Red Rising Magazine
On April 5, 2019 — at the Indigenous Family Centre on Selkirk Ave. in Winnipeg, Manitoba — issue nine of Red Rising Magazine was launched, in the homeland of the Métis nation. The room was filled with excitement, as everyone in the room got to hear readings by many talented Métis storytellers. The event was hosted by the Red Rising Collective and co-hosted by AYO! (Aboriginal Youth Opportunities). Food Not Bombs served delicious eats at the event.
Lisa Delorme Meiler’s artwork was selected and published in Red Rising Magazine – Métis, Issue 9, April 2019.
You can see her work on the front and back covers of the magazine as well as throughout the publication paired with other Métis storytellers.
